Committee Meetings

The Cosumnes Groundwater Authority (CGA) Board of Directors currently has two committees to help guide their work. Look below for an informational graphic outlining our governance process.

• Projects and Management Actions Committee (NO LONGER ACTIVE)
  • The Projects and Management Actions (PMA) Committee was formed in March 2022 to develop the Cosumnes Subbasin Priority Projects List to inform the implementation of groundwater sustainability projects and management actions. The Committee was disbanded in August 2024.
• Citizen Advisory Committee (NO LONGER ACTIVE)
  • The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) was formed in March 2022 to provide input from and information-sharing among the Cosumnes Subbasin’s diverse communities and interest. The CAC served an advisory role to the CGA Board of Directors and consisted of a range of applicants with interest and experience in sustainable groundwater management. he Committee was disbanded in August 2024.
• Outreach and Engagement Committee
  • The Outreach and Engagement (O&E) Committee for the Cosumnes Subbasin, as established by the CGA Board of Directors, is convened to provide a productive venue for developing and discussing the CGA’s outreach efforts and implementation of the Cosumnes Subbasin Outreach and Engagement Plan. The O&E Committee will serve an advisory role to the CGA Board of Directors, to inform the Board’s implementation of the Cosumnes Subbasin GSP. Included is the Charter and Code of Conduct.
